The tour includes tastings and a few small bites from 6 or 7 establishments.
We will be walking for a total of 1.5 to 2 hours and though we do walk at a moderate pace to make it to all of our locations on time, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get off your feet. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
The tour goes on, rain or shine. Dress according to the weather, and we’ll provide umbrellas if needed. However we’ll do our best to stay out of the rain as much as possible.
Yes, there will be 2-3 stops with wine, beer, or distilled beverages.
To maximize your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets can only be purchased with a credit card from our website or by calling. Cash and/or walk-up traffic the day of the tours are not accepted.
If you make us aware at the time that you purchase you ticket (or up to 2 days in advance of the tour) we can provide vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you have other food restrictions such as allergies to nuts, shellfish, or dairy, we may be able to make a substitution on a case-by-case basis and we request that you contact us to discuss.
We do not provide a waiting list. If a date and time is sold out, there is always a good chance that we will add an additional tour on that day. Please email us to let us know what date you are interested in if you do not see availability.
We love kids, but please keep in mind that this tour is for those interested in food, wine, local culture, and history, and therefore may not be enjoyable for kids. Parents know their children best. Please consider whether a 3-hour walking food tour is appropriate for your own child’s attention span and stamina.
Infants or small children who will not be participating in the food tastings do not need a ticket, but please let us know they will be attending by including a message when you purchase your ticket.
Yes, restrooms will be available 2-3 times during the tour. However we advise you to use the restroom prior to meeting for the start of the tour.
We recommend that you bring a small bottle of water and a camera, and dress appropriately for the weather.
Definitely! This tour is a great opportunity to learn a little more about your town, and perhaps try some restaurants or dishes that you normally wouldn’t try. Our tours are also a great activity when you have out of town guests.
The tour is a great way to get acquainted with Sebastopol and the local area in general, so we advise taking the tour near the beginning of your vacation.
As it’s important that we stay on schedule during the tour we ask that you refrain from shopping. However we will make sure you have the information you need to return to your favorite spots to make purchases after the tour.
You do not need to purchase a ticket for them but please make us aware in the notes section when you purchase your tickets.

Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%.
Yes, the tour is entirely accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.
